Dean Rother came to CBC in 2018 and became a deacon in 2021. He leads music on Sunday morning, helps in children’s ministries and anywhere else there is a need. Dean surrendered his life to the lordship of Jesus Christ in 2002 when, after many toils and snares, he was convinced by the Holy Spirit of the utter vanity of trying to hold that office himself. Trials, need for assurance, and desire to know and please God the Father continually led Dean to scripture. Dean and his wife, realizing a thirst for clear, challenging, systematic teaching of scripture and a desire to raise their children in a family focused church, sought for and found CBC. CBC proved to be a warm and encouraging body of believers that holds to the sufficiency of the Bible, and Dean and his family love their fellowship.
