Jim Murff came to CBC in 2007, and became a deacon in 2014. He is responsible for scheduling a yearly list of men who will serve offertory and communion on Sundays, scheduling appointments with contractors for maintenance and repairs. Jim and his wife also assist in maintaining the baptistry for baptisms. Jim knew of Jesus from a young age but became a true believer in Christ at a Billy Graham crusade in 1965. He married Linda in 1969, has two children and six grandchildren. One of his favorite bible verses is Proverbs 16:9 “The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps”. Jim and Linda love the fellowship of a smaller church and the excellent expository teaching of Pastor Dan Phillips.
